We were excited to sponsor the 11th Annual Empty Bowls event that took place in Bowling Green in September.
Empty Bowls of Bowling Green works to help end hunger in our community — one bowl at a time. This group works with artists and members of the community to help raise funds and awareness to end hunger in our communities.
All funds from this event are donated to area charities that focus on providing food to those who are hungry. All money raised was distributed to area food pantries to help them get food to our friends and neighbors in need.
We also want to thank Robin Coichetty and Garry Taylor for coming out to Kiwanis to speak about this wonderful event.
