Timesavers Caregiving & Concierge is hosting our biannual Proactive Aging Series this November! This is a free, educational event open to everyone in the community. Our goal is to provide a series of educational sessions focused on maintaining well-being and optimizing quality of life throughout the aging process.

The Bowling Green series will be hosted at the Warren County Public Library – Lisa Rice Location.

November 5 | Session 1 | 11:00 a.m. | Movement, Nutrition, and Memory | Guest Speaker: Jill Steffey

Jill Steffey, owner and founder of Pieces of Hope will speak on the importance of movement and nutrition as we age. Pieces of Hope is a unique program to help those with needs of all kinds, move their bodies and engage/retrain their brains.

November 6 | Session 2 | 12:00 p.m. | How to Prepare for the High Cost of Getting Older | Guest Speaker: John Dotson

John Dotson, partner at Kentucky Elder Law PLLC, focuses on the practice of elder law and estate planning. He brings legal experience, compassion, firsthand knowledge, and a passion for helping older residents and their families. Join us for a session presented by John about how you can prepare for the future and the costs that come with it.

November 7 | Session 3 | 2:00 p.m. | Coping with Seasonal Depression | Guest Speaker: Senior Perspectives

Senior Perspectives provides outpatient counseling for older adults. As we get older, we experience change. These changes can often become overwhelming, leading to more serious emotional health issues. Join us to learn more about mental health for seniors and the resources available.
